Born right here in Tamworth, New South Wales, BRBD was founded as a homegrown, family-operated independent label. We were tired of generic inner-city streetwear and identical corporate country uniform lines. We wanted something different. Something that felt entirely authentic to the grit, resilience, and hard-working spirit of regional Australia—but finished with a premium retail edge.

The name BRBD—short for Barbed—and our signature barbed wire motif are a nod to the rugged lines that stitch together the vast Australian outback landscape. To us, the barbed wire is far more than just a graphic; it is a symbol of the bush itself.
